WSBL’s floor insulation range of materials are heavy-duty acoustic underlays which provides excellent sound reduction from footfall noise and helps to reduce airborne sounds such as talking and televisions from above or below.
At a maximum of 15mm thick, depending on the desired variant, this acoustic flooring has minimal impact on the floor build-up and is ideal when replacing existing carpet underlay. The mats are easy to cut using a sharp blade and can be laid loose over the existing floorboards.
Each mat consists of a high-performance cross-linked PE foam resilient layer, which is bonded to a sheet of 7.5kg/m2 mass loaded vinyl designed, manufactured and tested at our UK based manufacturing facility.
WSBL MAT 2 is a noise insulation barrier material composite which exhibits excellent acoustic and airborne sound transmission reduction properties.
WSBL MAT 2 is designed to improve the sound insulation of existing panels and structures which are typically made of wood, metals, and rigid plastics etc. The product can be fitted in intimate contact with the original panel or structure.
